Job summary

Randstad USA in San Diego, CA seeks an experienced Controller for a PE-backed health and wellness company. This is the first finance hire and will work closely with ownership to establish robust financial reporting, controls, and processes.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in accounting, a CPA license, and a proven track record of building an accounting/finance platform in a small-to-mid tier environment, with top-notch communication and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Randstad USA is presently conducting a search for a Controller for a PE-Backed Health and Wellness company in San Diego, CA. The company is well-established, rapidly growing, fast-paced, and highly entrepreneurial.

This is the first hire for the finance function and this role will work closely with ownership and key stakeholders to perform the following functions:

• Building of financial statements and reporting
• Bank / Cash reporting
• Budgeting / Forecasting
• Implementation of policies and procedures
• Management of daily accounting functions

The ideal candidate will come out of a small-mid tier enviornment, 15 + years experience, CPA License (required), track record of setting up an accounting / finance platform, top-notch verbal and written communication skills, and a very entrpreneurial attitude.
