Job summary

CFS in Pittsburgh is seeking a Controller to partner with the CFO and VP of Finance, stepping into a leadership role that oversees inventory, financial reporting, and operations. This is a broad, hands-on position with influence across the company’s accounting functions.

You will manage month-end close, lead audit and tax work with external firms, supervise the Assistant Controller and staff, and collaborate with yard managers to communicate financial performance.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing accounting experience required.
• Strong audit and tax preparation background.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Sage preferred).
