Job description

This is a hands-on, in-office role for someone who wants more than a narrow accounting seat. It is an opportunity to lead the accounting function in a small business, take real ownership of your domain, and help build a stronger company over time.

We are looking for someone who values working closely with a good team, wants their work to matter, and is energized by responsibility. The right person will be trusted, relied on, and expected to bring both accuracy and initiative. They will provide insight into the business’s financial status, potential risks, and opportunities to improve its operations.

The right candidate will bring experience in construction, homebuilding, or a closely related industry, along with sound judgment, high integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to explain financial information clearly and practically.

  • Lead the company's accounting function and help strengthen it for the future.

  • Work closely with team members across the company to keep financial information aligned with day‑to‑day business realities.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for banks, CPAs, and other external financial partners, including coordinating tax reporting, tax return preparation, and related compliance requirements.
