Job summary

Minard Enterprises is a private family office spanning gaming, entertainment, technology, media, energy and national security, with operations across 11+ entities in Georgia.

We are seeking a Controller to bring order and visibility to a multi-entity financial operation and report directly to executive leadership.

You will own the accounting function across the portfolio—consolidation, close, and reporting—while building internal controls and ensuring financial integrity as we scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of accounting experience in multi-entity or family office.
• Gaming, hospitality, or regulated industry experience is a plus.
• Hands-on operator — performs the work directly.
• High discretion handling sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting across all entities (consolidation, reconciliation, close).
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for founders and leadership.
• Manage cash flow and forecasting.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Coordinate payroll across entities.
• Support tax preparation and CPA coordination.
• Design and implement internal controls.
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain chart of accounts and optimize the accounting system (QuickBooks).
• Track entity-level P&L and intercompany accounting.

The Role

We need a Controller who can bring order and visibility to a multi-entity financial operation. You\'ll own the accounting function across the portfolio — establishing controls, producing consolidated reporting, and ensuring financial integrity as we scale. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to executive leadership.

What You\'ll Own

• Full-cycle accounting across all Minard entities (consolidation, reconciliation, close)
• Financial reporting — monthly, quarterly, and annual for founder and leadership
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Accounts payable/receivable oversight
• Payroll coordination across entities
• Tax preparation support and CPA coordination
• Internal controls design and implementation
• Audit readiness and compliance across gaming and non-gaming operations
• Chart of accounts management and system optimization (QuickBooks)
• Entity-level P&L tracking and intercompany accounting

What We\'re Looking For

• Bachelor\'s in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
• 7+ years of accounting experience; multi-entity or family office experience highly valued
• Gaming, hospitality, or regulated industry experience a plus
• Hands-on operator — you\'re not managing a large team, you\'re doing the work
• High discretion — you\'ll have visibility into sensitive financial information
