Job summary

A multinational food distribution company in New Jersey is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead the full close-to-report cycle in a multi-entity environment. The ideal candidate will have 5–10+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and be detail-oriented. Responsibilities include managing month-end closes, preparing audit schedules, and ensuring financial discipline across the organization. A Master's in Accounting or CPA designation is strongly preferred, with experience in food distribution considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of progressively senior accounting experience — Controller, Assistant Controller, Lead Accountant, or equivalent.
• Proven experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany eliminations, and consolidations.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable owning the close process end-to-end.
