Job description

We're partnering with a growing organization to identify an experienced Controller to lead accounting, treasury, financial reporting, compliance, and finance operations across multiple entities.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys owning the accounting function, improving processes, and partnering with leadership in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
• Manage treasury activities, cash flow, banking relationships, and payment approvals
• Prepare lender reporting and ensure compliance with financial covenants and requirements
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and vendor payment processes
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors
• Support process improvement, automation initiatives, and internal controls
• Lead and mentor accounting support staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and financial reporting
• Strong treasury and cash management experience
• Advanced QuickBooks and Excel skills
• Real estate, property management, or closely held business experience preferred
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
