Job summary

C&S Machine is actively seeking a strategic, hands-on Controller to drive financial excellence within a growing manufacturing environment. You will report to the CFO and shape financial strategy, strengthen internal controls, and partner with operations to deliver insights for executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with cost accounting and manufacturing financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/year-end close activities while ensuring timely, accurate financial statements and executive reporting.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, including oversight of audits, tax filings, treasury, cash management, fixed assets, and capital expenditures.
• Partner with operations and executive leadership to provide financial analysis, cost accounting, inventory management, job costing, and variance reporting that drive profitability, operational excellence, and informed business decisions.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and operational performance.
• Lead finance-related ERP enhancements and ensure accounting systems effectively support manufacturing and production operations.
