Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller for our growing manufacturing firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry. This position will play a crucial role in our financial department, providing leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating all audit activities and manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow.
• Preparing and presenting financial statements, reports, and projects to the senior management team.
• Managing and monitoring all aspects of the company\'s finance and accounting functions.
• Implementing operational best practices and overseeing internal control systems.
• Ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and other financial regulations.
• Evaluating and managing risk, perform financial analysis, and report on financial performance.
• Coordinating the budgeting process and implementing financial plans.
• Utilizing Excel for complex financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Extensive experience with Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
• Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Excellent strategic planning skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Solid written and oral communication skills, excellent analytical abilities, and leadership qualities.
