We are representing an industry leading, privately held $100M operation that is actively seeking a Controller. This organization is a domestic leader in their space and pride themselves on an outstanding culture predicated on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. The Controller will report to the CFO who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Candidate will report to the CFO and will have a strong working relationship with the VP Operations.
• Responsible for leading department of 2 direct reports over a $100M business.
• Candidate will have accountability over close process, labor cost, transactional accounting, and reporting function
• Review and analyze plant inventory transactions
• Responsible for leading month end close process
• Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
• Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures
• Participate in projects and support CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.

POSTION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required. Advanced degree/and or certification considered a plus (CPA, CMA, MBA, MSA, etc..)
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Accounting Leadership experience with ability demonstrate solid depth and breadth of finance/accounting.
• Experience leading month end close process
• Targeting "Business Partner" with General Management/Operations (in context to "resource") that is, somebody who is comfortable having "tough" conversations with leadership.
