Job summary

Brewer Morris is partnering with a global capital markets technology company to recruit a Financial Controller for a senior leadership role overseeing a multi-country region. You will own regional accounting, reporting, and the monthly close, ensuring compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and Group timelines.

You will coordinate audits, ERP systems, and controls, while managing cash flow, banking relationships, and regional tax matters.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent preferred; public accounting experience is a plus.
• Significant controllership experience in a multinational setting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in SaaS, software or fintech with revenue recognition on complex contracts.
• Proven team leadership with strategic ability while staying hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional accounting, financial reporting and monthly close in line with local regs and Group timelines.
• Coordinate statutory audits, ERP systems and strengthen accounting controls.
• Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity and banking relationships across the region.
• Coordinate regional tax matters with Group Tax Department and compliance governance.
• Partner with Sales Admin and commercial teams on invoicing and complex client contracts."
• Work with FP&A on budgets, forecasts and management reporting quality.
• Advise Managing Directors on financial matters and contribute to strategic projects like office openings and leases.
• Lead, mentor and develop regional team and drive standard practices across countries.

What you'll own

• Lead regional accounting, financial reporting and the monthly close, in line with local regulations, accounting standards and Group reporting timelines.
• Coordinate statutory audits, maintain the ERP and financial systems, and strengthen accounting processes and controls.
• Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity and banking relationships across the region.
• Coordinate regional tax matters with the Group Tax Department and support internal compliance and governance.
• Partner with Sales Administration and commercial teams on invoicing and the financial side of complex client contracts.
• Work with FP&A on budgets, forecasts and the quality of management reporting.
• Advise Managing Directors and local management on financial matters and contribute to strategic projects such as office openings and lease negotiations.
• Lead, mentor and develop the regional team, and drive standard practices across countries.

What we're looking for
