Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or controller experience.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
  • Experience with high-volume financial transactions and cash movement.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting or financial services compliance is a strong plus.
  • CPA or CPA-track is preferred but not required.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash activity, collections, bank transfers, and funding transactions.
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, reconciliations, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
  • Process vendor payments, commissions, refunds, and other financial transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records across multiple accounts.
  • Support investor accounting, funding activities, and payment reconciliations.
  • Prepare annual tax reporting, including 1099 filings.
  • Track company expenses, credit card activity, and liabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory reporting, and filing deadlines.
  • Partner closely with operations and leadership to support business initiatives.
  • Assist with audits and maintain accurate financial documentation.
