Job summary

Deacon Recruiting seeks a Family Office Controller to lead accounting across multiple entities in a growing family office environment in San Antonio, TX. The role requires a CPA and expertise in multi-entity accounting, with responsibility for financial reporting to ownership and strategic financial decisions.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and system upgrades, transitioning from cash to accrual accounting, and build scalable finance infrastructure to support future growth and long-term

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• Expertise in multi-entity accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience leading accounting operations within family office, real estate, investment, or closely held businesses.
• Advanced QuickBooks experience and strong accounting systems knowledge.
• Experience creating executive-level financial reports and presentations.
• Strong communication skills with confidence presenting financial information to ownership groups.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
