Job summary

CFS, located in Longview, WA, seeks a Controller to manage the accounting function onsite. You will prepare monthly and annual financial statements, oversee the ledger and close, and supervise AP/AR/payroll, with audits and internal controls in scope.

This role offers direct access to the executive team and an opportunity to shape accounting processes. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting and CPA, with experience leading accounting functions and preparing financials

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA required.
• Experience preparing financials independently.
• Prior accounting leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee the general ledger and manage month-end/year-end close.
• Supervise AP, AR, and payroll functions.
• Coordinate annual audit and work with external auditors.
• Maintain internal controls and support process improvements.
