FICPA in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee accounting operations for a private real estate investment and development portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with extensive CRE experience and strong GAAP mastery, capable of multi-entity reporting and job costing.

You will lead monthly close, financial reporting, budgets, and internal controls, partnering with ownership to drive financial insight and strategic decision-making for development projects and property

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

Position Overview

An established, privately held Jacksonville real estate investment and development company. is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and development accounting across our portfolio of commercial real estate properties and development projects.

The ideal candidate is a CPA accounting professional with extensive experience in commercial real estate, multi-entity accounting, and real estate development. This position requires an individual who is equally comfortable managing detailed accounting functions and providing meaningful financial insight to ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations across multiple commercial properties, development projects, and affiliated entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including general ledger reconciliations and month-end/year-end closings.
• Manage property-level accounting, financial reporting, and annual CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations.
