Job description

This is an Controlleropportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent role. The company is seeking a true builder—someone who can step into an environment with limited existing infrastructure and establish scalable accounting processes, controls, and reporting.

What You'll Do

• Build and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal control
• Establish month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Develop financial reporting packages and management reporting
• Create scalable workflows across AP, AR, payroll, cash management, and reconciliation
• Implement budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting processes
• Improve operational efficiency and recommend process automation opportunities
• Partner directly with the President and help build an accounting function capable of supporting future growth

What We're Looking For

• Construction or building industry experience required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar leadership experience
• Experience building accounting processes, controls, and infrastructure from scratch
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Ability to operate independently and create structure in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
