Job summary

The Encompass Group is seeking a high-caliber Controller to join its leadership team in a rapidly growing manufacturing business. This is a hands-on financial leader role owning the accounting function while providing strategic financial guidance to leadership.

The successful candidate will strengthen financial reporting, build scalable processes, improve systems, and partner with executives on financial strategy to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or related field.
• Controller-level accounting and financial leadership experience.
• Experience in a growing or rapidly changing organization.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting skills.
• Strategic thinker who is still willing to be hands-on.
• Experience building processes and financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Oversee cash flow, financial controls, and financial planning.
• Develop and improve reporting, processes, systems, and KPIs.
• Partner with leadership on financial strategy and business decisions.
• Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for growth and profitability.
• Build the financial infrastructure needed to support continued company growth.
