Job description

Job Description

The Controller owns the integrity of the company's financial reporting and, critically, the job costing system that drives how we quote, price, and evaluate margin. This is a hands-on manufacturing accounting role in a high-mix, low-volume custom environment.

The company uses actual job costing. The Controller owns job cost accuracy and WIP integrity, maintains the labor and burden rates through which overhead is applied to jobs, and owns the feedback loop between quoted cost and actual cost, critical to estimating discipline and margin improvement over time. The Controller runs a clean and timely close, manages working capital, and as needed builds capital investment justifications and evaluates financing alternatives as they pursue organic growth through capacity and automation investment.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
