Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking an accomplished Controller/finance leader in Florida to connect financial performance with day-to-day operations. You will partner with operations, lead a finance team, and help translate numbers into actionable decisions across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates will bring strong accounting and forecasting expertise, advanced Excel, ERP experience, and a collaborative, results-driven leadership style.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical experience.
• Experience leading and developing accounting or finance professionals.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
• Strong operational and business acumen.
• Experience partnering with senior business and operational leaders.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and financial systems.
• Collaborative leadership style with accountability.
• Experience in multi-location or complex organizations.
• Experience in waste and recycling, transportation, logistics, or environmental services is a plus.
• CPA, MBA, and bilingual English/Spanish capabilities are valued.
