Job summary

CFS is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the finance function in a growing manufacturing environment, reporting directly to leadership. The role balances strategic financial leadership with operational oversight, including close processes, reporting, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting/finance within manufacturing, CPA preferred, and hands-on ERP experience. This role offers a bonus opportunity and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with leadership responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing operations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely close processes.
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to provide financial analysis, business insights, and decision support.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and performance reporting.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
• Develop, mentor, and lead accounting and finance team members.
