Job summary

Talent Corps in Dallas, TX is seeking a Controller to lead our accounting team, partner with the CFO, and bring clarity to financial reporting during a regional growth phase. You will own the close, build internal controls, supervise AP/AR/tax support, guide an ERP transition to Sage Intacct, and mentor staff while balancing big-picture decisions with hands-on work.

Required: 8+ years of accounting leadership, CPA preferred, multi-entity experience, and strong knowledge of ERP systems such as

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience owning month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.
• Understanding of multi-entity and multi-state accounting and revenue recognition.
• Experience implementing or upgrading an ERP system.

We’re hiring a Controller to lead our accounting team, partner directly with our CFO, and bring clarity and consistency to our financial reporting. You’ll have the opportunity to improve processes, develop people, and play a central role in our move from QuickBooks Enterprise to Sage Intacct.

You’ll be a strong fit if you…

• Have 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including accounting leadership.
• Have owned month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.
• Understand multi-entity and multi-state accounting and revenue recognition.
• Have helped implement or significantly upgrade an ERP system.
• Enjoy developing a team and can move comfortably between big-picture decisions and hands-on work.

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. An active CPA, staffing industry experience, and experience with Sage Intacct or QuickBooks Enterprise are preferred.
