Job summary

firstPRO, Inc. seeks a Hands-on Controller in Cherry Hill, NJ, overseeing end-to-end financial operations across a growing portfolio of 10+ properties. You’ll lead multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting functions, partnering with executives and coordinating with the external accounting firm.

Autonomy to influence financial operations will be yours as the portfolio expands. In this role you will manage month-end and year-end closes, analyze consolidated P&L,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Progressive accounting experience within hospitality space preferred.
• Experience managing accounting in multiple entities/property space.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and debits and credits.
• Prepare and analyze property-level and consolidated profit and loss statements.
• Coordinate with external accounting partners on financial reporting, tax compliance.
• Prepare federal tax returns and coordinate applicable state, local, and property tax requirements.
• Manage cash flow and support hotel acquisitions.
