Job summary

Max Solutions, based in Bristol, PA, seeks a Controller to lead plant accounting, internal controls and reporting. You will manage the balance sheet and P&L, drive monthly performance analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities include cost accounting, variance analysis, and system implementations within a manufacturing setting. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, CPA or public accounting background, and extensive experience in SAP and ADP payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• CPA license or public accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 10 years of professional Finance and Accounting experience.
• Proficiency in SAP and payroll system, ADP.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the balance sheet and P&L preparation along with monthly performance analysis.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of monthly performance reporting requirements.
• Support planning and analysis activities including budget and forecasting.
• Oversee the cost accounting function ensuring job costing, machine rates and job close-out and variance recognition.
• Ensure manufacturing variances are identified, classified and analyzed; provide insight for improvements.
• Collaborate with plant management on policy interpretations, cost distributions and saving initiatives.
• Directly communicate with plant and operations management regarding all material and expense expenditures.
• Perform other duties as required; demonstrate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction.

We are looking for a Controller for our Bristol, PA location.

• Directly communicate with plant and operations management regarding all material and expense expenditures. Ensure proper reconciliation of these
