KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a hands-on Controller for a privately held, multi-location operation in the South Shore, MA region. This high-visibility role reports to the CEO and oversees accounting, financial reporting, cash management, inventory, and operations.

Responsibilities include GL/AP/AR, month-end close, budgeting, staff leadership, internal controls, and collaboration with ownership to drive process improvements and strategic insights.

Qualificações

• Hands-on Controller or senior accounting manager background.
• Experience in privately held, entrepreneurial, or family-owned business.
• Strong GL, financial reporting, cash management, and inventory accounting.

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, month-end close).

A well-established, privately held company with diversified, multi-location operations is seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations.

This is a high‑visibility opportunity reporting directly to the CEO, with broad responsibility across accounting, financial reporting, cash management, inventory, and operational finance.

Ideal Profile

• Strong hands‑on Controller or senior accounting manager background
• Experience within a privately held, entrepreneurial, or family‑owned business
• Multi‑location retail, distribution, wholesale, or related industry experience preferred
• Strong GL, financial reporting, cash management, and inventory accounting skills
• Proven ability to lead a small accounting team and oversee office operations
• Strong Excel and Accounting Systems experience; QuickBooks a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Comfortable operating in a hands‑on environment and working directly with ownership

The Role:
