Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting department in a lean, growth-driven environment. This role offers a hands-on path from public accounting to industry leadership and direct exposure to senior leaders.

You will oversee month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and coordination with external auditors, with a strong emphasis on strategic processes and operational rigor. Salary is competitive with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting management experience in manufacturing or construction, or equivalent leadership in public accounting with manufacturing clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the accounting department.
• Own and streamline critical business processes.
• Hands‑on accounting and review of accounting team work; month-end close activities and financial statement prep.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting with the GM.
• Prepare financial reports for management and explain variances; coordinate with external auditors.

About this Controller opportunity:

• Lead, manage and develop the accounting department.


• Own and streamline critical business processes.

Preferred qualifications of the Controller:

• BS Accounting.
