Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow activities.
• Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and non-profit accounting requirements.
• Coordinate annual audits and tax filings.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Partner with leadership on financial planning and organizational initiatives.

This role will oversee the organization’s accounting function and support financial reporting, budgeting, month-end close, and overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of non-profit accounting experience and currently be working as a Controller or Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities
