Job summary

Edge Staffing Partners is seeking a Controller to lead the day-to-day operations of the Finance department in a hybrid DC office setup. You will report to the CFO, oversee a small team, and drive financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting/finance with GAAP and nonprofit experience, plus team leadership and strong communication skills. CPA is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including management experience.
• Experience leading or supervising a finance/accounting team.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization is a plus.
• CPA is not required, but is a plus.
