Job summary

Livengrin Foundation is seeking a Controller to lead the finance and accounting functions from its Bensalem, PA campus. The role oversees budgeting, reporting, audits, and compliance with state and federal requirements.

You will manage cash flow, supervise the finance team, and partner with leadership to ensure strong financial controls and accurate filings. A CPA is preferred and five years of experience in accounting/finance is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required.
• Five years of related experience required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operations of the Finance Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and collection, and payroll.
• Works with leadership in the establishment, oversight, and maintenance of organization accounting systems, procedures, and policies.
• Implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
• Oversees the production and dissemination of all financial reports.
• Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the organizations performance.
• Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
• Oversees and monitors cash management.
• Presents findings and recommendations to management.
• Oversees the annual audit, collaborates with external auditors, and supplies all required information.
• Files quarterly and annual reports.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Handles corrective action and termination of staff in accordance with organization policy.
• Ensures staff receive the necessary training and support.
• Assures staff meet the requirements for licensure or certification.
• Ensures appropriate staffing and provides coverage if necessary.
• Conducts interviews and hires new staff.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Confirms staff training compliance is met.
• Ensures proper and timely submission of timecards for payroll processing.
• Assesses staff and patient safety.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
