Job summary

Legion Claims Solutions is seeking an Accounting Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting across multiple service-based entities and support strategic financial planning.

The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and internal controls while partnering with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and operational improvements. In person, Baton Rouge, LA. This position offers growth, exposure to multi-entity consolidation, and leadership of an accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the service related industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and multi-entity financial management.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
