MidAtlantic Recruiters is seeking a CPA accounting leader for a Controller role in Baltimore, MD. You will lead and develop accounting teams across a healthcare environment, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and multi-entity coordination.

You will work with finance and operational leaders to drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and standardize accounting practices across entities. This leadership position requires a CPA and strong experience in healthcare finance.

Formación

• CPA certification required.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Healthcare accounting experience in a multi-entity environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop accounting teams responsible for month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Review monthly results, analyze revenue and accounts receivable, and identify trends requiring investigation.
• Oversee multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, allocations, and reporting processes.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and system implementations.
• Collaborate across departments to strengthen financial accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.

What we're looking for:

• CPA certification required.
• At least four years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Healthcare accounting experience strongly preferred, particularly in a complex, multi-entity environment.
