Job summary

ProSource in Tampa is seeking an experienced Control4 Programmer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and delivering exceptional customer experiences on luxury smart home projects.

You will install, configure, and commission residential and commercial automation systems, program Control4, troubleshoot A/V installations, and maintain project documentation. Travel and on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years in Control4 programming and system setup.
• At least 3 years installing whole-house audio/video and home theaters.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening.
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call service schedule.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission residential & commercial automation systems.

• Perform advanced audio/video installations and calibrations.
• Configure and troubleshoot residential & commercial networks.
• Install and integrate surveillance, LED lighting, landscape lighting, motorized shade systems and other third‑party products.
• Diagnose and resolve service issues independently in the field.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and project stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and installation standards.

Optional Job Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience in security systems: wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, setup monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC)
• 3-5 years experience in CCTV systems: wiring, design, setup, troubleshooting
• 3-5 years experience in structure wiring: cabling, terminations, testing
