Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Control Systems Technician II for the North Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, and continuously improving facility-wide automation and control systems, ensuring reliable operations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 years of relevant experience in control systems or similar.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• HVAC/building automation domain knowledge preferred.
• Experience with BAS, PLCs, SCADA, and regulatory compliance (GxP) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for troubleshooting automation systems across manufacturing and facility operations.
• Install, modify, maintain, and improve campus-wide control systems (HVAC, environmental monitoring, energy plants).
• Perform IQ/OQ validation and calibration of instrumentation per SOPs.
• Maintain documentation including drawings, programs, and network architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, SCADA, and related hardware/software.
