Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group in Maryland seeks an experienced Project Manager to join our control system integration practice. You will lead projects, design hardware, program PLCs/ HMIs, and collaborate with clients to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience designing and programming automation systems for industrial applications.
Experience with Rockwell hardware/software and PLC/HMI programming.
Familiarity with Siemens, AVEVA (Wonderware), and GE automation tools preferred.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred; other engineering degrees considered.

Responsibilities

Lead project tasks including hardware and control panel design.
Oversee PLC and HMI programming, SCADA design, and power distribution.
Manage project execution: proposals, estimates, scheduling, resources, finances.
Maintain client relationships and provide leadership to the team.
Coordinate with finance for reporting and ensure quality control.
Mentor staff and deliver quarterly reports to partners.
