Vertech Industrial Systems, LLC is seeking a Control Systems Integrator II - Energy to develop PLC/HMI based control systems and SCADA solutions for solar PV and battery energy storage projects across the United States. You will design, program, test, and support systems with strong emphasis on reliability and usability.

You will work with technologies like Ignition Perspective, SEL RTAC, Rockwell, Siemens, and GE platforms, contributing to energy projects nationwide while enjoying flexible

Qualifikationen

• BS in electrical, mechanical, chemical or related engineering field or relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of experience developing PLC controlled SCADA systems, preferably in a project-based industry.
• At least 1 year hands-on experience developing PLC programs, HMI screens, and SCADA systems.
• Solid understanding of a major PLC platform (Rockwell, Siemens, GE, or Modicon) and one HMI/SCADA platform (Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk, or GE Proficy).
• Experience with Ignition Perspective, SEL RTAC, or solar (PV, BESS) and power projects is a big plus.
• Ignition certified, or willing to earn certification within the first year.

• Take smaller projects from start to finish, with guidance from senior integrators and project leads.

What You Will Be Doing

• Plan, design, program and implement PLC/HMI based control systems, primarily using SEL RTAC and Ignition Perspective

• Turn customer-supplied control descriptions and drawings into a working software design
• Take smaller projects from start to finish, with direction from senior integrators and project leads on larger ones
• Test your software thoroughly in-house before it reaches the client, and support on-site commissioning

What You Need for this Position

• BS in electrical, mechanical, chemical or related engineering field or relevant experience
• Two to five years of experience developing PLC controlled SCADA systems, preferably in a project based industry
• At least one year of hands-on experience developing PLC programs, HMI screens, and SCADA systems
• Solid understanding of at least one major PLC platform (Rockwell, Siemens, GE, or Modicon) and one HMI/SCADA platform (Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk View SE, or GE Proficy)
