Job summary

Vertech in the United States is seeking a Control Engineer to develop PLC and HMI-based control systems for manufacturing. You will lead projects, ensuring well-documented PLC code and intuitive HMI design.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead on projects and interface with clients.
• Guide junior engineers on technical components.

What You Will Be Doing

• Plan, design, program and implement PLC/HMI–based control systems
• Write structured, well‑documented, bug‑free PLC code
• Design intuitive, easy‑to‑navigate, aesthetically pleasing HMI interfaces
• Act as the technical lead on projects and interface with technical clients regarding the solution
• Break down the technical components of the project and help lead junior engineers down the right path

What You Need for This Position

• BS in electrical, mechanical, chemical or related engineering field or relevant experience
• Three to seven years of experience developing PLC‑controlled SCADA systems, preferably in a project‑based industry
• At least two years of experience developing PLC programs, HMI screens, and SCADA systems
• Ability to travel up to 20%
