Job summary

ICM is seeking a Control System Specialist I to program DCS and PLC systems, develop HMI graphics, and participate in startup of automated plants that support renewable energy and agriculture. The role involves hands-on field work, working with a team, and contributing to project success.

You’ll travel to plant sites, install software and equipment, and help verify and start up systems. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork are essential as you grow with our engineering group.

Qualifications

• Associates or technical degree required
• 1–3 years DCS and PLC programming experience preferred
• Industrial plant startup experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop DCS and PLC programs and design HMI graphics
• Travel to plant sites to install software and equipment
• Troubleshoot motor control circuits, instrumentation, and automation issues
• Support clients, contractors and field personnel during project execution
• Procure materials and equipment, and generate electrical material requisitions
• Share ideas to improve design processes and applications
