Job summary

ICM Ventures Inc is seeking a Control System Specialist I. You will program DCS and PLC systems, design operator HMIs, and participate in startup activities at industrial plants.

Travel to plant sites up to 40% and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement electrical designs, automation, and field installations. Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates or Technical degree in related field required.
• 1–3 years DCS and PLC programming experience preferred.
• Industrial plant startup experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop DCS and PLC programs and design HMIs used by operators.
• Travel to plant sites to install software and equipment and assist startup.
• Troubleshoot control systems and instrumentation at existing plants.
• Support clients, contractors and field personnel bringing designs to life.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to procure materials and equipment.
• Suggest improvements to design processes and equipment applications.
