Job summary

HDR is seeking a Control Systems EIT to support its global practice, providing design, automation programming, testing and maintenance for control systems across multiple industries. You will work under a Senior Control Systems Engineer to design SCADA systems, select instrumentation, and produce construction documents.

Strong initiative and collaboration are expected in this role. Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in engineering and an EIT certificate, with knowledge of Allen-Bradley,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Active EIT certificate or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design complex industrial control and SCADA systems.
• Assist with selection of instrumentation and network equipment.
• Create biddable construction documents (drawings and specs).
• Develop PLC/HMI software and support testing and commissioning.
• Work independently on small projects or with senior engineers.
