Job summary

HDR is seeking a Control Systems Coordinator/EIT in California to design and support complex industrial process control systems. You will participate in design, testing, commissioning, and coordination across water, waste, and power industries.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, with MS-level preference, and experience with DCS/SCADA platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Wonderware, or Ignition. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is required.

Responsibilities

• Focus on process controls for complex industrial systems.
• Design and evaluate process control systems for water/wastewater, solid waste, power and process industries.
• Assist in selecting and specifying process instrumentation, control panels and network equipment.
• Assist with system testing and commissioning activities.
• Assist with design and construction project coordination tasks.
• Work independently on small projects or with senior engineers to complete tasks.
