Job summary

GrayMatter seeks a Control Systems Engineer in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on developing and delivering control system solutions for clients, with travel to central, northern, and eastern Virginia.

You will lead projects, design systems, and train end users in new applications. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in an engineering field and at least 3 years’ experience with PLC programming (Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens, GE) and SCADA platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field; experience may substitute.
• Minimum 3 years in control systems with PLC/SCADA experience.
• Experience design, installs, and troubleshooting of control systems.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform GrayMatter services to meet client needs with focus on Control Systems.
• Design, develop and implement solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Consult with and train end users on new applications.
• Lead projects from start to finish.
• Assist in project development and planning.
• Conduct onsite pilots, FAT/SAT testing, and demos as needed.
