Placements24 seeks a skilled Control Systems Engineer to enhance industrial automation in the energy sector, operating from a hybrid model with focus near East London. You will design, implement, and maintain advanced control systems for efficient and safe industrial processes and power generation equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing industrial control systems.
• Proficiency with Siemens and Rockwell PLC programming and HMI/SCADA software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement PLC/DCS based control systems for industrial processes.
• Configure and program HMI/SCADA systems.
• Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of new control systems and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot control systems hardware, software, and instrumentation issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation (P&IDs, control narratives, FDS).
• Ensure safety standards and cybersecurity practices are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement PLC/DCS based control systems for industrial processes and power generation applications.
• Configure and program industrial automation software, including HMI/SCADA systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems hardware, software, and instrumentation.

Requirements
