Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Control Systems Engineer (Energy Accounting Specialty) to support and maintain energy transactions and operational data across utility-related platforms, including Energy Accounting Systems, SCADA, and EMS. The role partners with operations teams, regional utilities, and energy marketers to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.

The position is hybrid-eligible, based in Ephrata, WA, and requires troubleshooting, upgrades, and regulatory compliance support within

Qualifications

3+ years (Engineer III) or 6+ years (Engineer IV) supporting business-critical applications in a 24/7 environment.
Experience supporting enterprise applications, databases, or operational systems.
SQL query and database experience.
Experience troubleshooting software, application, data integration, or communication issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting system upgrades, maintenance activities, and application enhancements.
Ability to create technical documentation and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to obtain and maintain NERC CIP access requirements.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot application and data issues across Energy Accounting Systems, SCADA, EMS, and related platforms.
Maintain interfaces between systems and support regulatory compliance requirements.
Execute upgrades and enhancements and support operational technology environments.
Collaborate with operations teams, utilities, and energy marketers to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
