Job summary

Elliott Equipment Company seeks a Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and implement electronic control systems and wiring harnesses for custom mobile products. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to deliver reliable, compliant control solutions in a hands-on, project-driven environment.

The role emphasizes hardware and software duties, from schematics to testing, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical or Controls Engineering or related field.
• Experience with control systems including controllers, sensors and actuators.
• Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electronic control systems for custom mobile products and applications.
• Create, modify, and maintain wiring schematics and wiring harness designs.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot mobile controllers and related control hardware.
• Integrate control systems with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software components.
• Test, debug, and validate control systems to ensure functionality, safety, quality and performance standards are met.
• Support manufacturing and field teams during system build, installation, and commissioning.
• Diagnose and resolve control system issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including drawings, revisions, software and system descriptions/specifications.
