Genie Matthews and Associates leads a cutting-edge Control Systems Engineer role in Kentucky, shaping the design, construction, commissioning, and initial operations of a large-scale chemical processing facility.

The successful candidate will integrate DCS, SIS, PLCs, and automation networks, ensuring safe, efficient plant operations from project inception through operation. Experience with FAT/SAT and safety system validation is essential.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in industrial control systems within chemical processing or related manufacturing environments.
• Experience with DCS, SIS, PLCs and control system architecture.
• Knowledge of IEC 61511, Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and functional safety principles.
• Experience reviewing engineering documentation and specifications.

Mansioni

• Oversee engineering and architecture of control systems through all project stages.
• Evaluate contractor designs and technical specifications for safety and standards compliance.
• Ensure cybersecurity protocols and functional safety compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors for project execution.
• Provide technical support during installation, loop checks, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot control system issues and optimize performance and reliability.
• Contribute to alarm management, operator interfaces, and procedural documentation.
• Ensure readiness and ongoing lifecycle management of automation systems.
