Job summary

AWC, Inc. is seeking a multi-skilled Control Systems Drafter/Designer to support industrial automation projects. You will develop instrumentation and electrical design packages, create schematics and panel layouts, and ensure designs meet NEC/ISA/API/NEMA standards.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, and Siemens NX, plus knowledge of PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems. Hybrid work with occasional office presence is available across several locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical design, instrumentation, or controls engineering environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCad and EPLAN engineering software.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, technical specifications, and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret project requirements and develop accurate control system assembly drawings.
• Design electrical and instrumentation drawing packages for automation projects.
• Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials.
• Collaborate with engineers and field technicians to deliver high-quality control solutions.
