POET is seeking a Control Room Operator in Savannah, GA to operate the transload elevator controls and coordinate with the Yard Supervisor to ensure production plans are executed smoothly. The role requires close collaboration with office and production teams, meticulous data entry, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include daily paperwork, reporting irregularities, and maintaining efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Knowledge of logistics and handling heavy bulkhead doors on containers.
• Personal integrity is essential for this role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate controls of transload elevator.
• Coordinate with Yard Supervisor to relay production plans clearly.
• Serve as liaison between office and production teams.
• Prepare daily paperwork for production crew.
• Observe machinery and report irregularities to Operations Manager.
• Maintain efficiency of production flow and minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in daily operations.
• Follow PPE and railway safety practices.
