Responsibilities

• Respond to intrusion alarms and instruct the team.
• Log radio traffic and ensure communication during incidents.

• Prepare incident reports and manage keys and radios.
• Monitor Fire Alarm system.
• Monitor Building Automation System (BAS).
• Fill out incident reports.
• Issue keys and radios and manage access cards.
• Respond to garage call boxes and elevators on the phone.
• Operate elevators as required.
• Sit for up to 90% of the shift.
• Stare at monitors for long periods.
• Follow SOPs to protect property and guests.
• May cover oncoming shift for call-offs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to intrusion alarms by instructing the team.
• Respond to all radio traffic and log such that is required to be logged.
• Effective communication during live incident tracking is an important part of the incident response.
• Control remotely such as gate, doors, or other access points.
• Monitor and respond to the Fire Alarm system.
• Monitor the BAS (Building Automation System).
• Fill out incident reports as required.
• Controlling and issuing keys and radios
• Create and check status of access control cards.
• Respond to the phone system for the call boxes in the garage as well as for the elevators.
• Turn on and off elevators as required.
• Ability to sit for up to 90% of their shift.
• Ability to stare at monitors for hours at a time.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, most importantly word and excel.
• Ability to listen to radio traffic and discern what is important and needs recorded, and not important to the operations.
• Ability to follow SOP’s to ensure the welfare of our property and its guests.

The Control Center Operator may at time, have to cover the on-coming shift for call off’s or until a relief can get there.
