Job summary

Purolator is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Control Room to monitor yard activity, track trailers, and coordinate communications between drivers, vendors and the network team. The role requires 2–5 years of control room coordination experience and strong Excel skills, with the ability to resolve issues while minimizing impact.

The position is Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–1:00 AM, at the Etobicoke warehouse.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of control room coordination experience in the logistics industry.
• Proficiency in Excel and application-based software.
• Experience communicating with all levels of business.

Responsibilities

• Monitor yard access and inventory for inbound/outbound trailers at the Warehouse/Sort Facility.
• Log trailer moves in Yard Management System and maintain yard inventory.
• Review daily transportation needs to meet volume agreements within capacity.
• Handle operational issues to mitigate customer, operational and financial impacts.
• Communicate delays and updates with Management, Sales and Customer Service teams.
