Solidus Resources is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead mine engineering, planning, and technical governance for a large-scale open-pit operation at the Lovelock, NV site. You will develop short-, medium-, and long-range plans aligned with the Life of Mine strategy and budgets, guiding a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration with operations, geology, and maintenance, and advancing autonomous and digitally enabled mining.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years in open-pit hard-rock mining; gold or copper experience preferred.
• 3–5 years leading mine engineer or technical services teams.
• Experience with Vulcan and MinePlan.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and execution of mid- and short-term mine plans.
• Oversee sequencing, haulage, equipment needs, stockpiles, waste placement, and drill-and-blast planning.
• Review forecasts and plan performance; identify risks and actions.
• Coordinate with operations, geology, and other technical teams.
• Monitor safety, productivity, fragmentation, and cost.
