Job summary

Solidus Resources in Lovelock, NV is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead mine engineering, planning, and technical governance for a large-scale open-pit operation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years in open-pit hard-rock mining; gold or copper helpful.
• 3–5 years leading mine engineering teams.
• Experience with mid- and short-range mine planning.
• Leadership and people-management experience.
• Experience coordinating survey and drill-and-blast.
• Proficiency with Vulcan and MinePlan required.
• Strong cross-department communication.
• Autonomous/digitally enabled mining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of mid- and short-term mine plans.
• Direct five direct reports within a broader team of eleven.
• Oversee survey and drill-and-blast inputs and planning.
• Coordinate with operations, geology, and other technical teams.
• Maintain planning standards and compliance with MSHA and regs.
