Job summary
A leading North American energy company is seeking a Control Room Operator for its Arlington Valley Facility. This role includes ensuring safe and efficient operation of a 580MW Combined Cycle Power Plant and monitoring various equipment parameters. Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably experience in power plant operations. Qualifications
- Experience as an Operator in a power plant is desired.
- Experience as a Control Room Operator for Combined Cycle Plants is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of water chemistry control and chemical handling is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operation of all plant equipment in various operational situations.
- Monitor equipment parameters and ensure conditions are within proper control ranges.
- Issue permits for work authorizations as required.

Solid ability to solve equipment, systems, and safety issues
